Kory Hudson

As a portrait, fashion, and travel photographer based in Toronto, I have a passion for creating images that capture the energy and connection between people and the world around them. My journey into photography began while traveling internationally after university, where I became drawn to unfamiliar environments and the individuality of the people within them. Since then, photography has become a way for me to capture not just how something looks, but how a moment feels.

My work blends cinematic editorial aesthetics with emotion-driven composition, focusing on the relationship between subject and surroundings. Whether I'm photographing in a studio, by the ocean, or on the other side of the world, I'm always searching for the balance between beauty, movement, light, and authenticity. I'm especially inspired by the culture and visual atmosphere I encountered while traveling through South Africa, Indonesia, and Japan. These experiences, among many others, continue to shape the way I see and create.

Outside of photography, I'm inspired by travel, sports, entrepreneurship, and the process of building new ideas from the ground up. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually planning my next trip, working on a new business venture, or finding time for basketball or tennis.
